Our knowledge, experience, care and attention to detail has made us the boutique travel agency of choice for inner-westies for 30 years.
We've been helping inner‑westies plan and enjoy travel experiences that begin with a friendly chat and end with precious memories and stories worth sharing.
When Williamstown Travel & Cruise opened its doors back in 1997, Google didn't exist, paper tickets were the norm, and the 747 ruled the skies. We were one of 14 travel agencies in the area, but quickly became the travel agency of choice because our focus wasn't on bookings but on creating travel experiences that were all our clients hoped for and more.
Three decades on, we are among the few boutique travel agencies that not only remain but continue to thrive.
Because, while travel has changed tremendously in that time, the value that experience, care, and personal service bring hasn't.
Many of our clients have travelled with us for decades. They travel with us again and again because each and every time, our care and attention to detail make their travel experiences exceptional. While our knowledge, experience and relationships allow them to enjoy unique travel experiences that most travellers never will and return with memories that last a lifetime.

'Travel reminds us that wonder isn’t just for children; it’s a lifelong practice'
As a child, I learnt to read studying a street directory and an atlas my father kept. I would trace the lines, imagining where each road might lead and what adventures lay beyond the page. And today, I love nothing more than unfolding a map and retracing the journeys I’ve taken around the world.
I have ballooned over the Serengeti, Valley of the Kings and Cappadocia, climbed Machu Picchu and the Great Wall of China, trekked with the Gorilla and Chimpanzee in Uganda, sailed along the great rivers of Europe, travelled east to west across Russia by train, journeyed north from South Africa to Tanzania, and crossed the Peruvian altiplano by rail.
I’ve camped in the Sahara Desert and Wadi Rum, trudged through snow in the Arctic Circle and Switzerland, and cruised the great rivers of Europe.
Every journey has taught me something — about logistics, about cultures, about the unexpected moments that turn a trip into an unforgettable experience.

'The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page'
For me, travel is and always has been a way of life. I've explored almost all of South East Asia – from Sumatra and Borneo to Brunei, and everywhere in between.
I’m drawn to places a little off the beaten path — Transylvania, Sumatra, Brunei, eSwatini. I love tracking to the hidden jungle treehouse, the lesser-known lodge, the unexpected detour.
I’ve been chased by monkeys in the jungles of Borneo, dived straight from an overwater bungalow into a Maldivian lagoon, perched on a clifftop on the Cambodian border (now a no-go military zone), and had my fortune read at the original Eat, Pray, Love house.
But I also appreciate the elegance of a European River Cruise and the luxury of a five-star hotel or train voyage.
Every destination and experience offers something different. Travel, for me, isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about connection, discovery and stories you carry with you long after you return home.
